Recreated in Textile I transforms a hard, industrial object into a soft, hand-crafted form. Chains, usually symbols of weight, strength, and restraint, are here remade from fabric and fiberfill. The textile bodies mimic the appearance of steel links but carry the opposite qualities of warmth, fragility, and tactility.

The work reflects on how material shifts can alter our perception of power, vulnerability, and connection.
